We collect information you provide directly to us, such as:

  • Contact Info: Name, email address, and account details when you register.
  • User Content: Audio recordings, transcriptions, notes, and other content you create or share.
  • Communications: Customer support requests and communications with us.
  • Payment Info: If you make a purchase, we collect payment details and billing information. Payment processing is handled by secure third-party providers and we do not store complete payment information.

Information We Collect Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect:

  • Identifiers: Device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and IP address.
  • Usage Data: How you interact with our app, including features you access and product interactions.
  • Location Information: General (coarse) location based on IP address, not precise GPS location.
  • Diagnostics: Performance data, crash reports, and app diagnostics to improve service quality.

App Permissions

Our app may request the following permissions to function properly:

  • Microphone: Required for recording audio meetings (only when you actively choose to record).
  • Storage: To save transcriptions and recordings locally on your device.
  • Internet Access: Required for connectivity to our transcription and AI services.
  • Notification: To send you important alerts about your transcriptions or account.

How We Use Your Information (Data Use)

  • App Functionality: To provide, maintain, and improve our Services, authenticate users, enable features, prevent fraud, and ensure security.

As defined by Apple and Google's policies, "tracking" refers to linking data collected from our app with third-party data for advertising or sharing your data with data brokers. We do not engage in tracking across sites and apps owned by other companies for the purpose of targeted advertising or advertising measurement. We do not share your data with data brokers.

Target Audience and Children's Privacy

Our Services are designed for and targeted to adults. They are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. App Access Information

Our app requires user registration and authentication to access core features. You will need to create an account with an email address and password. All users can access basic features, while premium features may require a subscription. We do not use complicated login mechanisms or multi-factor authentication unless specifically enabled by the user for additional security.

Our app may use third-party services and SDKs that collect data for analytics, crash reporting, and app functionality. These third parties may receive your data when you use our app. All third-party code in our app is required to comply with our privacy practices. We regularly review third-party SDKs to ensure they align with our privacy standards.

Platform-Specific Privacy Information

  • Apple iOS: We do not collect precise location data through our app. All data collection is optional and clearly presented to users within the app interface.
  • Google Android: We request only the permissions necessary for app functionality. All sensitive permissions are explained at the time they are requested.
  • Both Platforms: You can access, edit, and delete your data directly within the app settings.
  • Native Features: If we use platform frameworks (like CloudKit, MapKit, or Google Play Services), any data collected through these frameworks is handled according to their respective privacy practices.
  • On-device Processing: Data processed only on your device (and not sent to our servers) is not considered "collected" data.
